Break the Procrastination Habit
Procrastination is the habit of postponing things for no valid reasons. Somebody defined procrastination as: "They said procrastination is the cause of all my sorrow - I do not know what that big words means, I will look it up tomorrow!."
The following tips may be useful to overcome procrastination:
1. Change your daily routine.
2.Eliminate behaviours that is associated with a habit you want to extinguish. For example, if you procrastinate by having coffee with your friends and chatting, eliminate having coffee altogether. Implement it strictly. Allow no exception to your new habit at least for the next 15 days.
3.Start from today. Don't procrastinate on this issue.
4.Start setting the time limit for a planned activity. Don't believe in the as-soon-as-possible syndrome.
5.Break major tasks down into sub-tasks. Try doing one small bit today.
6.Don't tell everyone that you are a procrastinator; sometimes you will have to act as per the image you created for yourself.
Try these and see if there is improvement.
